Basic Process Of Cane Furniture Making 

Step 1 : Cutting

The cane is cut into required size. 

Step 2:Frame Bending 

The cane is then bent with the help of gas burner.

Step 3: Measuring 

The bent cane is then measured and cut according to the size of the required furniture.

Step 4: Joining 

The cane pieces are attached together with the help of nails by hammering.

Step 5: Detailing

Thinner variety of canes are used in detailing. 

They are either hammered together to form a pattern or braided together.

Step 6: Painting 

 The cane furniture is painted using red oxide primer.

Step 7: Finishing

The cane furniture is given a varnish coat as finishing.
